Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens



The park exhibits over 200 animal species in approximately 200 acres of parkland and beautiful gardens with a fine variety of tender exotics and hardy perennials, surrounding a listed Victorian Manor House. The park appeals to all ages and includes a narrow gauge railway.

The Dunkirk little ship Queen Bodicea II which makes the public journeys.



Gloucester Docks Walk



Starting from the main entrance of the North Warehouse, this one hour tour tells the story of Britain's most inland port.



Birdland



Birdland is set in seven acres of woodland, with river, gardens and ponds. Over 500 birds including flamingos, pelicans, penguins and storks can be seen on various water habitats. Over 50 aviaries of parrots, hornbills, toucans and many more with the more delicate species located in the Tropical, Temperate or Desert Houses. Penguin Cafe, gift shop & play area.




The Dick Whittington Family Leisure Park



Fun and education for all the family, particularly toddlers to ten year olds, in 100 acres of parkland including indoor play barn, oudoor adventure play park, pedal zone and mohair goats. New for 2007 are the Dick Whittington Exhibition and Hidden Valley environmental experience.




St James City Farm



An inner city farm providing real hands on contact with farm animals. Rare breeds of pigs, Sheep, goats & Poultry. Outdoor picnic site.



National Waterways Museum



Located in a listed Victorian warehouse this award wining museum charts the fascainating 250 year story of our inland waterways. Hands on interactive, touch screen computers, working models, archive film and historic boats are expertly used to illustrate the characters who made the waterways possible, the technologies used, and what it was like to work and live on the canals.
